Boy Mama
I never thought I'd be a boy mama.
When I thought about being a mom, I thought about sewing dresses and dolls. I didn't think about sewing stuffed monsters. And I definitely never considered the possibility that I might have to sew pants.
Yet here I am, two beautiful boys later, loving every minute of it. I still hate sewing pants, but I've started loving the creativity in sewing for boys. Yes, I've sewn dolls and stuffed bunnies. But I've also sewn dinosaur costumes, a Daniel Tiger hat, and a tent. And I want to sew more.
The problem, though, is there aren't a lot of patterns for boys. That's where this blog comes in. My plan is to use it to keep track of the patterns I like and don't like. My hope is that other boy moms find this blog, use it, and share their own boy patterns.
